it’s finally happening
June 28th, 2007 | by prick |After 8 years of attending Burning Man, I am finally feeling as though all the roughing it has paid off. True, I have attended 2 of those years in an RV, but that was different. This year, I finally have a group that is pushing 20 people and we are goddamn organized! Meals are being planned, the camp is being mapped out and designed in 3D and above all else, we have these:
I own half of the trailer. For those who know me, you know how huge this is. I’ve been wanting something of my own to use for Burning Man for a long time now. Now that I have it, I am a bit overwhelmed. It’s living in my back-lot at my apartment, so I have constant access to it. Many upgrades and repairs are underway and that trailer will be decked out by Burning Man.
Along with this excitement, we have a ton of second year burners coming, including one person who hasn’t been since 2001. So, this year is proving to be the best one yet. Not to mention, my job this year is actually giving me the time off with pay because they aren’t completely insane.
