the horror!
July 25th, 2005 | by prick |Saturday night was Rocky de la Horror at Sins ‘o the Flesh. This was my second time at Sins and it was a lot of fun. Joshua and Liz lead the Angry Inch in their live version of Tear Me Down for preshow as a publicity event for our show on Friday. The preshow was great and the audience seemed to really love it. We passed out flyers to all the Sinners and got a lot of positive feedback. People were just so excited to see Hedwig at Rocky. Jason gave us some good plugs and I am very hopeful for this week’s show. I have a very good feeling about it.
Afterwards, Mark was showing the Princess Bride, but seeing as how I had just sat through 3 hours of Rocky, Kadimah and I opted to follow Joseph and his crew to the Downtown Standard! Brett has been wanting to go there for quite some time now. Of course, we didn’t hit the bar (as it was 4 am), but we had some slightly overpriced food in the almost empty restaurant. The food was really good and the company was excellent. I am very happy that we decided to go along. There are a few pictures up in the gallery from the Standard. You can see where Kadimah and I had matching outfits and makeup, even!
All around, a very wonderful night. Glad I went.
