post vegas

I am back from my weekend in Vegas. It was a whirldwind trip. Lots to cover, so I will jump right in.

Highlights from the weekend include a fantastic bachelor party (what happens in Vegas… blah, blah, blah), seeing a lot of people that I love all at once, a great dinner with the groomsmen at the Venetian, lots of good times with Kevin and his friends, the world famous Bellagio champagne brunch buffet, seeing lots of family that I hadn’t seen in about 10 years, a trip with Dave, Travis, Michael and Vanessa to Crown and Anchor that may have changed my life forever, oh… and a kickass wedding and reception.

All in all, it was a great Vegas trip. I didn’t get a lot of sleep, I lost quite a bit of cash, I had some great food and had the best time ever at the british pub with friends and new friends.

It is a British pub in Vegas that serves an assload of different beers from all over. As to why it chagned his life, no clue. I’m guessing it was the peeps, not the place, but I could be wrong.

Ah the Crown and Anchor - we need a place just like it in Pasadena. In fact, we should start a place just like it.

It was one of those timeless nights. Good times with real metal darts, cold beer, some damn good chicken fingers, and Patrick bonding over a bowler hat. The people we met there were very animated, intriguing, and engaging - although I was a little disappointed to discover that Sean lied to us about his url. There is no “datakitchen.com.”

The wedding was beautiful - an unforgettable weekend.

Actually, I found out that Brit’s has expanded their restaurant on Colorado by PCC and turned the old room into a pub, which rocks! If you haven’t been to Brit’s, it’s a must for the beer and EXCELLENT food :)

OMG! Brit’s had *awesome* food before when it was just a little hole-in-the-wall resturaunt. We need to go there!

    “uh uh, not according ….”

    uh huh implies agreement ;)

I believe that both “uh huh” or “uh uh” could be correctly intepreted in this instance.

It must also be noting that I’m a geek. And that the “!~” are the most important parts of that.

(I believe that in the mental image department, the !~ is pronounced “la” with a hair flip and a hand out.)

Unless the “uh huh” is dripping with sarcasm.
