good days
May 16th, 2005 | by prick |I’ve had a good couple of days.
Started with only having to be at Jury Duty for one day. Not having to go back downtown next week is awesome. Also got to spend the entire day there on a computer. That definately helped make it tolerable.
Went to the Jinsai house and listened to them play a whole set just for a bunch of friends they invited over. I was very impressed with the new music. Can’t wait to hear more.
Had a nice dinner with some friends and played some video games (video games = best therapy ever). Saw a friend feeling the wonder and magic of a new relationship. Was very cute.
Finally, went to Ryan Scott Oliver’s recital at UCLA. That kid is a genius. Period. He’s going to be very successful. The show was a mix of all the musical performances he has put together/composed/worked on in his 4 years at UCLA. A bit emotional at times and funny as hell the others.
Spent the night at home watching the Survivor finale. Not impressed with this season, aside from Stephanie. Steph rules. TV has been good this season, but I am very excited to not have any shows I am interested in be on during the summer.
Looking forward to this summer. Should bring a lot of fun outdoor activities. Hopefully will get the chance to go camping before Burning Man.
I don’t even have to say how excited I am to finally be preparing for this year’s Burning Man. Have a lot of great ideas and a lot of resources that will help to build a really great camp. Looking to possibly go early and volunteer at the gate. That would mean being there 5 days early and watching the city get built from nothing. Should be a lot of fun.
Anyway, I am fighting sleep, so I will end here.
