indie in trouble

Your favorite radio station and mine, Indie 103.1, is in jeopardy! Looks like Clear Channel has too many stations in LA and has to drop one. Unfortunately, that means that Indie is first on their list. Chances are Entravision will switch to an ethnic formot of some kind. This is very unfortunate. I guess LA is just doomed to have crappy radio forever.

    What? Indie is a Clear Channel station? Ew, I’m so disappointed. The station is good, Clear Channel is lame.

    Um, I’m not sure if I believe the stuff about them having too many stations and that’s why they’re maybe dropping it…since they almost have a monopoly on radio stations (and venues, come to think of it)…BOO Clear Channel…

    Hey, don’t get me wrong, I think it’s *great* - I guess I’m just SO surprised to see it finally happen! Well, great for the monopoly crap, bad for Indie, a great radio station.
