February 27th, 2005 | by prick |Hedwig was on Friday. The show was great. The theater was not. I can only hope that something is done to fix that place up. There’s a huge hole in the ceiling and the whole place smells like milldew. Not to mention the fact that the closet we keep a lot of our stuff in sprung a leak and some stuff was wet. This could really put a damper on our show if they don’t do something to keep the water off our props and costumes.
Regardless of the state of the theater, the show went well. Not a lot of people in the audience, but it’s good to have a light show every once and a while. The pre-show was really fun and I think it looked a lot more professional than I expected it to. We have some really great people involved these days, so that helps a lot.
Oscars now. I should be cleaning more than I am right now, so I will end this post now.

God, i was so in my own headspace that I didn’t even notice the theater. Good thing I’m not the stage manager.
I also didn’t notice a smell - go sinuses!
